Background information
The Impossible Dream was a Poison Girls magazine edited by Lance d'Boyle, and published by XNTRIX records, sold at gigs and by mail order. The magazine featured photomontage, Poison Girls lyrics and writing from other artists incuding Janet Dube, Andrea Dworkin and William Burroughs. Focusing on issues of militarism, sexual politics and the degeneration of capitalist culture and politics. Four issues were produced at intervals between 1980 and 1986.
