The poster was obtained at an auction at Burgersdijk & Niermans, Leiden, The Netherlands on November 16, 2021.T here is a bootleg version by The San Francisco poster company, but that is not this one, as those bootlegs are always clearly marked as such. See: summerofloveposters.com. The auction house confirmed that this poster was part of the collection of Dr. Leo van Maris, who in the Sixties collected counterculture publications and spent time in the San Francisco area. Poster is printed on vellum.
