Background information
Deviation Street - The origins of Deviation Street go back to the 6th of June 1977 at a Rock Against Racism (RAR) gig featuring the Adverts, Penetration, Harry Hack and the Big G and one other band from Manchester called Warsaw, who would later go under the name Joy Division. The gig inspired 3 teenagers to start this fanzine Deviation Street, the name being a nod to a track by Mick Farren and his band The Deviants.
